In the winery: Partially fermented in stainless steel before maturing for eight months on yeast lees in mostly older French oak.
In the glass: Bright pale gold.
On the nose: Sweet stonefruit, nougat, vanillin oak and a hint of struck match.
On the palate: Nutty and complex with ripe, rich melon fruit tempered by nutty, savoury lees, smokey oak, oyster shell minerality and an almost salty finish.
