It is rare to see a Merlot with this amount of bottle age, but Willespie are aged release specialists, and Margaret River is definitely the place to make these styles.
Full brick red in the glass. Cassis, coffee and leather over stewed plum. Shows a lovely warm texture with loads of bottle aged charm, clove, liquorice, mocha and cassis through to the velvety finish. Drinking within its peak window.
