Distinctly different to the Hunter style, many producers in the Clare, like Woodvale, produce this flavoursome barrel fermented example of the variety.
Pale to medium lemon. Citrus, lemon butter and toasty oak. Full-bodied with a bright core of citrus and each with toasty cashew oak. Amazingly fresh and bright with well-judged oak, bright acidity and creamy texture. Still fresh and vital.
