Trailbreakers rather than traditionalists, Anna and Derek Hooper of Cape Jaffa, have created a vineyard on the Limestone Coast that’s in harmony with the environment and life, and produces organic and biodynamic wines like this 2012 Shiraz.
Made by winemaker Anna Hooper, this full-bodied Shiraz is deep inky red purple in the glass with rich, spicy plum and red fruit aromas, while the palate features ripe chocolate, mocha and red fruits with obvious vanillin oak. It’s deliciously ripe and velvety with persistent tannin length and balanced acidity.
