In the winery: After inoculation with cultured yeast in static fermenters, it was pressed off skins after 10-14 days then spent 18 months maturing in oak.
In the glass: Light to medium red.
On the nose: Restrained, delicate red berry.
On the palate: Juicy and soft with a robust core of cherry and plum, ripe tannins and long, savoury persistence. Medium weight and chocolatey bringing the best of both varieties with wonderful texture and mouth-feel.
