Chambourcin, rarely sighted outside of NSW, is a unique variety. It was a staple in the Hunter for many years, but less so these days. Juicy bright and vibrant, making it a great early-drinker.
Full red to purple in the glass. Earth, leather, crushed leaf, dark cherry and cassis aromas. Bright and sweet red and black fruit, with juicy acidity, supple velvety texture, good balance, and oak complementing the fruit.
