Shiraz from the Pyrenees is always a pretty safe bet, Cabernet less so, but this wine shows what the region can produce with the right vineyard and winemaker combination.
Deep, dark red. Restrained aromas of cassis, red berry and savoury oak. Palate is full-bodied, dense and concentrated with dark fruit, liquorice and cassis, elegant tannin and acid harmony, and a refined, seamless finish. Will continue to soften.
