The name ‘Angels Peak’ is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the lack of ‘peaks’ in the very flat Coonawarra. The wine is a great reminder that Coonawarra is not just about Cabernet.
Deep ruby red. White pepper over plum and dark cherry. Supple red and black fruit entry, with leather, kitchen spice and dried herbs, deep powdery tannins, supple acidity and mouthfeel, and plenty of charry oak in support. Powerful yet elegant.
