Frankland River may not be the best-known region for Cabernet, but it makes some superb wines given the suitability of its climate, as this delicious example shows.
Deep red to purple. Lifted dark cherry, liquorice, cassis and oak. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated with a dense core of currant and plum, toasty vanillin oak, ripe tannins and hints of anise and briar on the long, seamless finish.
