As legend has it, Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley was named by the early Hungarian settlers which translates to ‘hell hole’ referring to the very hot and dry summers.
Deep purple. Expressive nose of dark berries, Christmas cake and toasty oak. Not heavy yet packed with mulberry, cherry and blueberry, complex wood smoke, vanilla bean and black pepper notes, fine tannins and a silken texture on the long finish.
