In the winery: Barrel aged in French oak for 24 months (5% new oak, 95% old) followed by 6 months in stainless steel.
In the glass: Vibrant, youthful dark red.
On the nose: Dark cherry, raspberry, bay leaf and vanillin oak aromas.
On the palate: Blackcurrant with mint and black pepper, sweet oak and mocha-like complexity. Lovely balance and texture, soft tannins, fresh acidity and excellent flavour persistence.
