Soumah Hexham Syrah 2015

In the winery: Fruit was gently picked on various dates then separated into whole berry or whole bunch ferments. It was then racked to barriques and puncheons where it slowly aged for 18 months.
In the glass: Deep ruby red.
On the nose: Rich, concentrated blackberry and mulberry fruit with hints of mocha and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Full and rich with concentrated black fruit power supported by multi-layered tannins driving the powerful finish. A modern Syrah with lovely deluxe oak throughout.
