In the winery: Vinified in small open-top fermenters with pump overs three times per day for 7–10 days before spending 12 months in used French oak.
In the glass: Deep ruby red to black.
On the nose: Mulberry, plum, cassis, bay leaf and cedar oak.
On the palate: Black fruit intensity with herbaceous bay and dry mint varietal notes, fine tannin foundation and bright acidity to balance.
