Matured for 14 months in 100% new American oak, with six months in French oak towards the end of barrel maturity. Only outstanding barrels were chosen to be blended with a small parcel produced.
In the glass: Vibrant deep brick red.
On the nose: Spicy lift over cassis and choc mint.
On the palate: Shows a mocha-like presence – rich, ripe and concentrated with a warm core of dark fruit, lovely structure and persistence, fine balance of oak and tannins.
