Forest Hill Vineyard Springvale Estate Riesling 2011

In the winery: Long fermentation occurred at cool temperatures before being racked off yeast lees, and filtered before bottling.
In the glass: Pale gold - bright.
On the nose: Ripe citrus with honey and toast complexity and varietal kero notes. On the palate: Quite rich and honeyed yet strongly varietal and intense with a lovely creamy texture, vibrant lime-like acidity and length. A good example of an aged style drinking at or near its peak.
