Leogate Estate Wines Brokenback Semillon 2011

Named after the large lion-adorned iron gates that guard their Pokolbin vineyards, Leogate Estate is a Hunter Valley favourite. Being Semillon and coming from the famous Brokenback vineyard, this wine is classic Hunter.
 
Pale straw green in colour, it exudes ripe lemon aromas with a slightly grassy lift. The lively palate is showing lemon sorbet and fruit tingle flavours with amazing acid freshness and chalky length. Will cellar well in the medium term.
