While Riesling has the potential to age really well, not all examples do, and the great ones are hard to find. Thankfully, we found this 10-year-old from Mitchell, which is in its perfect drinking window.
In the glass: Medium gold.
On the nose: Beautifully developed toast, lanolin and ripe lemon aromas.
On the palate: Deliciously rich, ripe and complex with honeyed citrus fruit, stonefruit, bees wax and talc characters. The mouth-feel is almost creamy in its richness yet the wine is still fresh and vibrant.
