The Saddler’s Creek winemaking philosophy is – “the only real wine is good food wine” – and so it goes without saying that this Sauvignon Blanc is a delight with a host of food matches, in particular a broad bean, mint and feta salad.
This pale straw coloured Sauvignon Blanc from the Hunter Valley sub-region of Mount View has an appealing citrus-driven nose with aromatic hints of passionfruit, herb and grass. The palate is light, dry and soft with clean citrussy fruit flavours, lemony acidity and a suggestion of sweetness on the finish.
