Watershed The Farm Chardonnay 2012

The Farm label is by Margaret River’s Watershed Premium Wines and its fun label is a reflection of the fresh, easy-drinking nature of the wines including this appealing Chardonnay.  
 
This bright pale gold Chardonnay exudes ripe citrus aromas with faint dusty lees notes. Gentle melon and ripe nectarine flavours open the palate, which has a slatey, minerally acid intensity and drive finishing with a lime-like persistence. There’s a hint of lees and barrel-derived texture and complexity.
