Nocton Vineyard N1 Pinot Noir 2013

This Pinot comes from a very special vineyard in Tasmania's Coal River Valley and the N1 Reserve range was developed to showcase the best fruit from the best blocks.
 
In the glass: Medium to deep garnet.
On the nose: Aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, tobacco, clove and earth.
On the palate: Velvety smooth, it has loads of Pinot charm with the acid and tannin balance providing poise and drive to the powerful core of red and black fruit. Savoury layers of clove and black pepper only add to the sweet core of fruit and the long, persistent finish. Gorgeous!
