Tasting Notes
Quite a savoury cool climate palate, it presents white peach, honeyed brioche, lemon cream, nougat, and cashews. Fresh acidity is balanced with lees derived texture and it has good length with a savoury but clean finish.
The 2017 Vintage
A dry winter and mild spring was followed by a warm growing season with welcome rainfall in December and January leading to full, healthy canopies enabling excellent yields and great flavour development.
+ FOOD
This Chardonnay has the complexity to match with flavoursome dishes including roast chicken
and creamy pasta. Or for a delicious autumn seafood dish, we recommend grilled salmon with pear and rocket salad.
