Being held Friday 15th to Sunday 24th October, the Fine Vines Festival brings together over 30 unique events showcasing the quality and depth of the region’s wine offerings. For aficionados and occasional drinkers alike, Fine Vines invites you to explore the aspects of Margaret River through tastings and tours, masterclasses, dining experiences and exclusive museum wines, plus you’ll get insider access to the vines, experts and wines that have shaped the region.
With just 50 years of winemaking history to its name, Margaret River is one of Australia’s younger regions, recognised as a rising star on the global stage. This Western Australian haven combines the best qualities of viticulture within a stunningly beautiful setting creating a strong sense of place and the promise of an exciting future.

Vintages, Do They Matter? | Fraser Gallop Estate | October 16
Join Fraser Gallop winemaker Clive Otto and restaurateur, WSET educator and wine judge Foni Pollit in the Fraser Gallop Estate barrel hall where they’ll unpack the influence of climatic conditions and the seasonal moods of nature upon the nuances of the vineyard. Explore two decades of Wilyabrup vintages through eight wines.
Margaret River Icons Flight | Fermoy Estate | October 20 and 21
Just 12 guests each session will have an audience with Fermoy Estate’s chief winemaker in an exclusive opportunity to taste museum stock and unreleased vintages. Named “The Best Cabernet in the World” at the prestigious Concours International Des Cabernet, Fermoy encapsulates the best of a region lauded for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay styles.
Syrahcentric | Domaine Naturaliste | October 22
Lovers of Syrah and Shiraz can dive deep into these two wine styles with award-winning winemaker Bruce Dukes of Domaine Naturaliste. Take a tasting tour of the Rhone Valley, South Australia, and Margaret River with six classic examples accompanied by a selection of charcuterie.
Sparkling Sundowner | Howard Park | October 22
Oysters, Sparkling wine and the golden glow of last light – savour the romance of Sparkling at Howard Park this International Champagne Day. Guests will enjoy a glass of Petit Jeté on arrival, and an ensuing experience of winemaking excellence that allows attendees to choose their own class of bubbles – including Champagne from Franck Bonville.
Seafood Meets Sauvignon Blanc | Lagoon Yallingup | October 23
Marri Wood Park and Lagoon Yallingup present a chic dining experience that draws together a distinct taste of Margaret River. Marri Wood Park will showcase its flagship Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc alongside Lagoon Yallingup chef-owner Ben Jacob’s refined seafood dishes. Experience a profound sense of place in one of Australia’s prettiest coastal hamlets.
Rosé Runway | Flametree Wines | October 24
